I found a site with a ton of anime today, along with ratings for every single one. So I went through and wrote down all the ones that scored 8.7 or better. I started watching a short one today, just 13 episodes, rated in the 8.8s. I also stopped watching it today.

It would seem there are an awful lot of perverts out there, I cant see why else this show would get such a good rating.
It is called Kiss x Sis. And is pretty much a Hentai with a lot of its focus on an incest relationship between a guy and his twin older step sisters.

On the bright side.....I did find a ton of animes that look interesting and that I have never heard about before.

I will go ahead and put a list of them on here tomorrow. In order from lowest rated to highest rated. The list will include all the ones I found that I have not watched yet, so my favorites are not included. I chose 8.7 as the lowest rating to mark since none of my favorites were lower than that.

Np. These are the ones I have not watched yet. I was amazed at how many there were with ratings this high. This is the same rating range as animes like FMA, Eureka 7, Code Geass and Darker than Black. There are very few that are higher rated. Clannad and Death note were both in the 9.10s.

I just finished Air Gear. I liked it. I started to watch the OVAs for it but they take place in a completely different part of the story line than the main series. They also stoop to using ecchi which the main series didn't do much of.

Now those are some overrated bad anime. .-.

At least they didn't put naruturd on that list.

Azumanga is good, though. :D

And Chrono Crusade is good during the first few episodes and gets more boring towards the end.

Detective Conan is a crappy tv show kind of anime... It's so bad, it even made it to German TV.

And I wouldn't even consider Bartender.

And Fate/ Stay Night is a bore, while being pretty in visuals.


I say: Watch Hellsing and Azumanga from that list. And then watch the ones in the "recommended anime" JPG I posted earlier, because most almost all of those are real gems. Except for maybe Neon Genesis Evangelion.

P.S. Consider watching "Serial Experiments Lain". It makes Inception look grade-school simple. I consider understanding the awesome storyline there as the ultimate test of intelligence. :P

And "Nausicaä from the Valley of the winds" is still my favorite. The movie was good enough to start Studio Ghibli.

Katekyo Hitman Reborn! is boring at the start, then it becomes super addicting
And definitely Air Gear, I love it.

I recommend, if you are a manga reader, to read Beelzebub. It's super funny. There are some episodes but not too many as they just begun airing a few months ago.

Where can I find it in eng sub?

The voices that english dubs use always bug the crap out of me. I use anime kinda like books. I find subbed ones and turn the sound off.

I started watching hellsing ultimate the other day. Its an interesting anime. The only complaint I have is that every character in it is a crazed lunatic except for Seras so far. And maybe Schrodinger.

My favorite scene so far is the one where a bunch of important people including the queen of England (who is such a sweet old lady) are gathered in a room along with Alucard, and a messenger of the enemy arrives.

The messenger is an really cute guy with cat ears.

Messenger: Gives message in the form of a video.

Contents of video: Declaration of war against England and Alucard, by the crazed lunatic Nazi (literally) in charge of the enemy forces

After watching the video.........

Seras: Points cannon like gun at cute messenger cat/boy.
Alucard: Shoves giant hand gun into the mouth of the cute messenger cat/boy.
Alucard: Promptly blows cute cat/boys head into smithereens.
Queen of England says: Vampire.
Alucard: ...............
Queen of England:.............
Queen of England: Destroy them all.
Alucard:....Yes your majesty.

In the scene afterwords, the Nazi guy walks down a hall and into a room. Where the cat/boy is sitting in a throne like chair.

cat/boy: Your slow. You need to lose weight. Your really slow.....I went to give a message and got my head blown off and I still made it back here before you.

Why does the messenger have cat ears o_o

Finished the last available episode of Hellsing Ultimate.........Its rather unresolved......The boss lady is traveling through a city with her former enemies following her and not knowing why.

Alucard is stranded on a air carrier he blew up.

Ceres just got a ultra cool new arm and went flying off to join the main battle and kick some butt.

The buttler is fighting some unknown enemy.

Stranded on an air craft he blew up? O.O Well, serves him right for blowing it up (:<
