A Good Song Intro For My Character:
The demons screamed and clawed at the gate slits, begging for freedom in the background didn't help his annoyance. He always ignored them, but for the first time, they got louder, and louder until he cracked. He stood with rage, and destroyed the gateway, letting them out, to freely attack the humans, and their world. Just because he was tired of his job, and wanted to be free from his own prison. He grinned at the power he just unleashed, as it is barely a fraction of what his own powers are. He once was able to, see the future, although his future seeing was blurry, it still came in handy. After he gazed into the future, his vision of current time reality is blurred temporarily. (A matter of a few moments) He is also able to open, close, destroy, or lock a gateway, or portal to any location in the world(s). As he unleashed these demons on the world, he opens a portal to the nearest mountain and walks through appearing there instantly.
(He uses the portals as quick transportation.)
As he sat on the mountain top watching his destruction unfold, he see's a small tavern with the oddest group of 'Mortals' he's ever seen. One, a witch with black wings. Another, a man in a suit with a cane that stared off into the distance. This man has a lot of sorrow within him and he could see it. Then inside he seen a woman working tirelessly to serve. Being that he's not a Mortal, and they all seem unusual for mortals, he hopes he can blend in with them for as to not cause any direct problems with him. He merely wanted a vacation. As were his prisoners he himself was bound to that gate. So, he had to destroy it to get away. He plans to, after resting and restoring his full power, (As listed above) he'll right his wrong.
So, he made his way down the mountain at a slow, but steady pace to arrive at the tavern just at sunset. Once there he received some odd stares, but got a warm welcome at the same time. Obviously they don't judge appearances or he would've been pointed on his way. He walked in and accepts a cup of tea, sat next to the fire, and relaxed for once. Thinking about the terror on the world he just unleashed within hours ago, and after all of that he was sipping hot tea next to a cozy fire, thinking of how he might fix the problems he caused once his power is regained. Possibly a mass portal to suck any other worldly beings besides himself back to the underworld. Who knows? For now, he was getting the vacation he wanted. It may have seemed selfish to put the world in ruins for a break from his simple job. But, the gate slowly sucks the life out of you. Being an immortal, it just caused him more and more pain as the days grew longer, and longer. He had a good personal reason to do what was done, if anyone else agreed he would be surprised.
