I've been wondering what programs do you guys prefer to use when doing ze arty stuffz. To me, I find Photoshop better but it takes more time to perfect than Paint SAI. I recommend Paint SAI to beginners and once you get the hang of it try Photoshop. I don't know bout you guys but that's just my opinion. Sooooo, what do you guys think?

I totally agree NKDZ its true. Photo shop is what people can call "pro" and Sai is like a boost to that "pro-ship"

The none button would actually make sense. Well, I chose both. Both have got functions the others don't have. Especially if you want to actually draw with the program, SAI is far more advanced AND those japanese uberpros usually use SAI. Photoshop has got other advantages, because it has literally an infinite amount of options.

Actually, a none button wouldn't fit in this criteria, as the topic is whether Photoshop is better than Paint SAI and vice-versa. But I guess the MS Paint option counts as a none button.

Well, I can definitely say that most artists on the net say paint SAI is way better than PS. Even the ones who use PS say SAI is better.

It depends on what version of PS you're using though, But I do agree that Paint SAI is better for lineart, and PS is better for colouring.

Neither. If you're a beginner, then the amount of features and abilities in SAI/PS will give you brain damage. For the novices (like myself).... MS PAINT FTW!?

Goku, I don't think you've been told this before, but chainposting is quite an unhealthy idea for topics - it crowds them too much. If you post something, and want to add something else, just edit your original post instead of adding a new comment. It just makes the replies look so much tidier, you know? ^^

Oh brother. no one except me voted Sai. -_- some poll going on. I mean look at the poll rates, the "Whats that" is a tie with photoshop lol. Im staying loyal to Sai as of now.
