Hey just need help
I'm REALLY new at this forum sooo yea.
how do i set up my profile pic i've failed tons of times xD
dam copy and paste.....
u dont have to explain in your comments although i would appreciate it....just tell me what section the topic for profile pic is in (i.e. random talk or hints)

buut how do i get my char page and stuff as my pic??

Go on your char page.
Take a screenie of your char page. Click here if you want to know how to screenie. Afterwards, just save your finished pic, and save that as your avatar on the forum.

oh ok ima do that on my pc cuz i always screw up on my mac unless u can tell me a nice short summarized way rite now. cuz i took the screnshot and icon appeared sayin screenshot(bla bla bla). do i like copy and paste or something after that?

How did you take the screenshot on your PC? Did you press Prt+Src/Print Screen or use a screen capturing program?

And if you want to take a screenie on a mac, just open up your char page, do Shift+Command+3, look on your desktop after 2 seconds, open it up, and you can edit it, resize, add text etc. Once you're done, save the file, and upload it on the forum as your avatar.

yo ranger it took a pic of my whole screen which i dont want just the pic of my window (char page) ooor how do i expand my window all the way? lol

You can use Microsof Paint and use Select and basically "select" the area you want and copy it. Then you can open a new Paint window and paste it and boom you have your desired image.

If you're using the Mac screenie method, and you take a screenshot of your screen, then you'll know that if you double click on the pic that appears on your desktop opens up the Preview application. Once you do, get the Preview screen into a comfortable position, and select File --> Take Screen Shot --> From Selection. Then, you can click and drag the region of your original screenie where you want. Afterwards, just let go of your mouse, and it automatically opens up another preview window, but with your NEW 'regioned' screenie. You can edit that, save it, and upload it on the forum as your avatar.

Just don't use Internet explorer. I, for example like Opera the most; some people think it's too complicated, tho. (I have no idea why.)

Chrome is fast, but except for that it can do literally nothing. :3



(I must say the new Opera version looks very good, though.)
