Personal events in life have led me to listen and analyse the discography of Two Steps from Hell - and seriously, as an orchestral? group (I have no idea what genre it is - maybe trailer music?) they have some pretty minted tunes.
I've found only a partial group of people actually enjoy this kind of music and I guess I'm in that minority... But if you strive to compose on a basis that is so audibly similar in these guys' pieces, you can't help but be inspired.

Ranger, I could introduce you into a lot of soundtracks and artists if that sort of music is your sort of thing - they would be Asian as well as non-Asian groups and people working in this area, some Touhou-based, most of them not. If you're interested, I'll post some.

Enjoyed the ones you posted either way.

Keep in mind that my "specialty" are game soundtracks overall.

Now then, say hello to my little musical friends! Set the quality as high as you can with this, but beware, because some of these go beyond 1080p. Also, your brain might explode.

Sorry for the musical overkill and me posting a shitton of songs at once, making you quite unable to enjoy all of them full length, but, you know, it would be more your loss than mine. ;D

    ___________________________

The first two are songs from an album by Tutti sound (download link coming up!), the most movie-like of classic arrage groups. I guess I don't need to tell you the original source materials with these...

And, of course, Morrigaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan! I simply can't believe this goes under the category of "doujinshi" and "amateur" - luckily, I'm not the only one who can't believe that either.

The album usually consists of 4 discs, but I think I grabbed the right one with this link. I wouldn't want you to miss the "Innocent Treasures" song at the end of it, because that would be... a shame.

Album for I-think-both: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Then, within the category you're looking for, there's pretty much everything by John Williams, who is most known for the Star Wars soundtrack. His movie-music gave him quite a name.

The conductor is the funniest thing I saw all day.

    ___________________________

Next would be... Nobuo Uematsu, with Final Fantasy! Part VIII had some wonderful soundtracks. They don't sound too similar to what you posted, but not incredibly far away either. Plus, "The Landing" (see first video) is still one of my favorite tracks overall.

Yeah, you're seeing right. Rocket-boosted motorcycle jumping from building to building, jetpack troopers, magic and heavy machine guns. That's the game I grew up with.

"The Landing" without background sound: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

    ___________________________

And last, but *definitely* not least... Guild Wars! I'm going to spare you the Skyrim music cause you already heard it if you live on this planet (and it wasn't THAT amazing, if still very good, and thus, I present to you, one powerful and one extremely beautiful piece, by Jeremy Soule.

Good moves, horrible music. But I guess that's a matter of taste.

    Same as always, I guess.
