Ranger's Sketches [Update]

New hobby of mine - sketching! Every time I sketch something new I always learn something new. These are really pretty bad, but I hope one day I'll make an improvement =P

Thats exactly how i started improving my art ranger. I kept learning as i practiced. soon with proper guidance, i began improving beyond my imagination.

Thank you for the overrated comments, Xin xD I would colour it if I could convert the .jpg files into Flash animation files (.fla's) so I could flash them, but I don't know how to do that =l

Sayor, if you can achieve what you did with your drawings only from practice of these kinds of sketches, then maybe I've found myself another aim >:D

clarify one thing. U sure u using pen/pencil? Cuz it looks like authentic papyrus with reed painting! Authenticy FTW YOO.

I do all of my sketches with two pencils (both of different texture) and an eraser.

When I take the pictures of them via my Macbook built-in camera they come up extremely flashed up and with low quality, so I enhance them on iPhoto and give them a black and white finish so that it looks like it's supposed to look.

So much for a simple scanner that I don't have, aye. =l

Cannot be effed getting a scanner, don't know where (although I can guess) to get one, don't know how much it costs, would require setup, etc etc...

I've learnt to make-do and improvise with the things I already have ^^

You can save so much money and valuable time by doing that, even though you don't always generate the perfect results you want.

Oooor, just get a 4 in1 scanner+printer+fax+photocopyier compact machine! Costs even less than those legit scanners.

I'll just stick with my Mac ^^ I guess I'm pretty glad I even have a built-in camera to upload my photos, using my actual camera to take the photos and then to upload them onto my lappy always was hard work.

A couple years ago I couldn't figure out what to give to my friend on her birthday. So I made some portraits of her and her siblings.
If I ever get a chance I will take some pictures of those portraits and post em for everybody.
