Eternal Phoenix WP

So, I have been working on this for quite a while now... At some point, I decided to dig up an old, old picture that I made with Apophysis (where I sadly didn't put perfect detail settings) and I just decided to roll with it, put some details in, wanted to see if it was going to look the way I wanted it to.

Despite the fact that the quality could maybe 've been better, I guess you can call it a success in general.


I may not be able to draw like NKDZ can, but heck if I stop understanding how the hell Photoshop works.

And hey, I have a graphics tablet now, so maybe I'll put something out there that - while paling in comparison with that Asian god - will be quite good itself.

Hm. I would've thought that as a 'phoenix' it would support it's aesthetic connotations and have that fiery style... but this. Is actually pretty awesome, in an abstract way.
I like the effect with the colours there, and the texture has that professional feel.

One thing: is it meant to have a head? Because I can't seem to find one :O

Aaah, sadly, it is harder to see with some color variations; I guess my patience left me on those. :>

In any case, the head is just a white outline that you can see through the wings... it is easier to see when you go fullscreen with that wallpaper.
