Okay, people. Now that things have been going preeeeetty slow lately and posts have been growing ever more pointless and content-less (which isn't exactly a bad thing), I want to propose some ideas.
A) Make this an actual content-site again.
Well, this must have been pretty obvious for you as soon as you saw the topic's title. But this is also the most important path. We need to do something new with the site. I mean, I stumbled across some random script-kiddie site today, and you know what? They have more members who actively contribute. They have more sections. They have more everything.
But when you want to go into a direction, you need to first agree on something. Which in our case would be what game this site would be about.
Well, I don't want to completely take this from you, of course, and here is my suggestion. We play Team Fortress 2, along with other games. Pipoca is already a pretty darn good TF2 player, I have it too, and the most important part: The game is free.
For those of you who don't know, Team Fortress 2 is a competitive shooter on Steam Network. All you would have to do is get a Steam account and download the game there. They'll try to sell you pointless hats tho. That's pretty much everything.
Other choices would include pirated games, more of an emphasis on the "Art" thing, et cetera, et cetera.
About TF2:
Team Fortress 2 is a competitive online shooter. There's different classes and so on, each with their specialty. The soldier can rocket-jump, the scout is extremely fast, the heavy is the big russian guy with the minigun, et cetera, et cetera.
If you want to recommend another game or possible topic for the future of the forum, do go ahead, but I want you to give me reasons on why.
B) A new forum skin
You have requested it, but I don't know if I'll have enough time to make one in the near future. Maybe I'll convince myself to start it tomorrow, maybe not in a month. The problem we're facing here is - quite frankly - the lack of customizability. I guess you can see why I don't buy a website and put in my own css or bbtheme code. I mean, I have been supposed to write applications for an internship about more than a month ago and I still didn't do it. Along with the thought of driving school being soon enough, I am getting a heart attack whenever my mind slips there.
Anyway, just wanted you to know that I actually read your request.
But nonetheless, I will try what I can do. Forumotion keeps being forumotion though, so... meh.
C) Oh yeah, wasn't there this FA RPG thing...
Given up. I mean, to make it a multi-writing thing we had just the right combination of unwillingness to give in, lazyness, lazyness, wouldn't you know it - lazyness and people slowly but surely leaving the forum.
I thought maybe I'll try my luck in writing, but - quite frankly - I had to find that I'm not that good at it either. Purple prose ain't my thing and the story was, sadly, uninventive crappy-anime-ish as is.
